Carewithal believes that quality care starts with focusing on the needs of each individual. This belief has helped us transform even the most troubled of care homes. By starting with the people using the service, we not only improve the standard of care, but we create a better working environment for the care teams too.
Care services must have systems or processes in place to drive improvement in the quality and safety of the service provided. An action plan is evidence that you are working to improve quality and safety. It also helps you focus your attention on the right areas.
Having a strategy in place will unite the team. If everyone understands the objectives and how these can be achieved, then you are more likely to get results. This improves employee satisfaction, which in turn improves customer satisfaction.
What to expect
First, we will review your care services, looking at the five key lines of enquiry; is it safe, effective, responsive, well-led and caring? This gives us a good insight into where action is needed.
Next, we work with your care teams to develop an action plan that is not only practical, but also sustainable. This will include any necessary improvements or amendments to operational structure, systems, policies, procedures and quality assurance.
Our aim is to help you progress from inadequate or requiring improvement to good, and from good to outstanding. We do this by showing you and your team what best practice looks like and how to achieve it.
Delivering quality care is not a simple tick box exercise. It requires care teams to focus on the needs of each individual, treating them with respect, dignity and compassion.
When we work with your care service, we’re there to give you the tools and support required to deliver exceptional care. If you achieve this then compliance and customer satisfaction naturally fall into place.
We believe that every care service has the potential to become outstanding if the teams are engaged and the focus is on care quality for the individual. Our track record of improving results and transforming services proves that this is true.
Samantha was kind enough to undertake a quality project and become my external advisor at Helme Hall. Sam has a depth of understanding around quality care not often seen. Sam has a full grasp of regulatory requirements and brings positivity to any provider she works with.
